Fall Registration Open

Registration for the Fall 2008 Season is now open. Follow the Sign Up To Play link to the left to sign up today. The registration fee is $175.  Sign up before August 20th and receive a $25 early registration discount.

The Fall Season will begin with tryouts on September 6th and continue through November 22nd. Games will be played on Saturdays. Practices will be held during the week at the discretion of the individual coaches.  Programs offered will be available for girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 14 (as of April 30, 2009).

Coaches & Managers...

Toluca Baseball is an all volunteer youth sports organization. Our teams are coached and managed by parents.  We are forming teams now for the fall season and need your help. If you are interested in coaching or managing a team, please complete this form and return it to the league no later than August 22nd. Instructions are on the form.  Have questions? Tournament of Champions

2008 marked the first year that Toluca Baseball participated in the United Valley Baseball League’s Tournament of Champions. Four baseball leagues (Toluca, East Valley, North Valley and Mid Valley) sent their regular season championship teams from each of five divisions: Shetland, Pinto, Mustang, Bronco and Pony. In each division the four champions competed in a week long tournament.  On June 14th, the Champion of Champions were crowned:

    Shetland     North Valley

    Pinto        Mid Valley

    Mustang      Mid Valley

    Bronco       Toluca Baseball

    Pony         North Valley

A very sincere congratulations to the Toluca Bronco Tigers led by team manager, Mark Moses.  Way to go Toluca! For their effort, the Toluca Bronco Tigers brought home a giant, perpetual trophy that will be held by the winner of this annual tournament from year to year.  Thanks to Mark and his fightin’ Tiger’s for bringing home the hardware in this very challenging tournament.

Parent Code of Conduct

Winning and losing are a part of baseball and can hold valuable life lessons for our children.  However, as parents, it is our responsibility to lead our children by example.  There is no room at Toluca Baseball for anyone to behave in any manner that does not express class, dignity and good sportsmanship. Please review the league’s Code of Conduct so as to be familiar with the particular expectations of Toluca Baseball Parents.

Toluca Baseball, a competitive wood bat only (mostly) league, founded in 1952, is the oldest youth baseball league in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley region. Toluca Baseball, affiliated with PONY baseball, offers a Spring and a Fall season for children from 5 to 14 years old.
