Closing Day Ceremonies - Saturday 6/6Closing Day Ceremonies will take place Saturday, June 6th at South Weddington Park from 12-3. Ceremonies will include the presentation of trophies (for every player from the Fours through Pinto and for the division winners and runners-up for Mustang through Pony), distribution of year books, BBQ lunch, a coaches’ hard ball game, a rock climbing wall, water balloon battle and a radar pitch speed booth. As always, please park in the MTA lot and walk to the field. |
Toluca Baseball Needs YouClosing Day will also serve as the League’s Annual Membership Meeting. Board Elections will be held as well. Toluca Baseball is an all volunteer organization. Board members provide the bulk of the labor necessary to operate the league. If you are interested in serving on the board and taking on an active administrative role within the league, submit your name for nomination to toluca.email@earthlink.net All league members in good standing are eligible for nomination. Deadline for nominations is Thursday, June 4th. |

Attn: 12 Year Olds -Cooperstown TournamentEach summer, Toluca Baseball organizes two teams of 12 year-old players to travel to Cooperstown, New York to play in a week long tournament with 95 other teams from all across the nation. One team is full, but there are openings on the other. Email the league for more information. |
Parent Code of ConductWinning and losing are a part of baseball and can hold valuable life lessons for our children. However, as parents, it is our responsibility to lead our children by example. There is no room at Toluca Baseball for anyone to behave in any manner that does not express class, dignity and good sportsmanship. Please review the league’s Code of Conduct so as to be familiar with the particular expectations of Toluca Baseball Parents. Remember, your children are watching. |
Water WatchToluca Baseball has begun a serious effort to increase the efficiency of the irrigation systems on all of the baseball fields. The irrigation controllers are being updated, watering times minimized and sprinkler heads are being adjusted.
